À Ester

Amanhã cuidarei de muitas flores
hoje oiço contigo A música
lembras-te:

Sweetness, sweetness I was only joking
When I said I'd like to smash every tooth
In your head

Ohh sweetness, sweetness, I was only joking
When I said by rights you should be
Bludgeoned in your bed

And now I know how Joan of Arc felt
Now I know how Joan of Arc felt
As the flames rose to her roman nose
And her Walkman started to melt
Ohh

(whoo whoo whooo)

Bigmouth strikes again
And I've got no right to take my place
With the Human race

Bigmouth strikes again
And I've got no right to take my place
With the Human race

As the flames rose to her roman nose
And her hearing aid started to melt

"Eu peneiro o espírito e crivo o ritmo
Do sangue no amor, o movimento para fora
O desabrigo completo.
Crivo a pulsação do canto
E encontro
O silêncio inigualável de quem escuta (...)"

Adoro entrar aqui no Catharsis, a "purificação das almas", segundo Aristóteles.

às vezes as saudades são assim...
Bjos e bom fim-de-semana

saudade (s) traz-me a letra da belíssima melodia de Purcell...

O solitude, my sweetest choice!
Places devoted to the night,
Remote from tumult and from noise,
How ye my restless thoughts delight!...
O solitude, my sweetest choice!
O heav'ns! what content is mine
To see these trees, which have appear'd
From the nativity of time,
And which all ages have rever'd,
To look today as fresh and green
As when their beauties first were seen.
O, how agreeable a sight
These hanging mountains do appear,
Which th' unhappy would invite
To finish all their sorrows here,
When their hard fate makes them endure
Such woes as only death can cure.
O, how I solitude adore!
That element of noblest wit,
Where I have learnt Apollo's lore,
Without the pains to study it.
For thy sake I in love am grown
With what thy fancy does pursue;
But when I think upon my own,
I hate it for that reason too,
Because it needs must hinder me
From seeing and from serving thee.
O solitude, O how I solitude adore!
